LCMS is excited to welcome back one of the world’s leading piano trios and three-time Juno winner, Gryphon Trio. Short works and movements taken from piano trio repertoire will exemplify the evolution of the piano trio, revealing how three instruments learned not only to coexist, but to speak with increasing independence, depth, and expressive purpose. The second half culminates in a deeply emotional masterpiece featuring Dvořák’s Piano Trio No. 3 in f minor, Op. 65.
