Fugitive Colours and Echoes of Time nominated for Juno Awards!
The Gryphon Trio is very proud that Fugutive Colours has been nominated for a 2013 Juno Award in the CLASSICAL ALBUM OF THE YEAR: LARGE ENSEMBLE OR SOLOIST(S) WITH LARGE ENSEMBLE ACCOMPANIMENT category.
Congratulations and thanks go out to composer Jeffrey Ryan, Bramwell Tovey and the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra, and Naxos Canadian Classics for a great collaboration on this wonderful CD!
In addition, we're thrilled to announce that composer Alexina Louie has been nominated in the CLASSICAL COMPOSITION OF THE YEAR category for her work Echoes of Time. Scored for clarinet and piano trio, the piece was commissioned by the Gryphon Trio and featured on our most recent CD For the End of Time on Analekta!
